Gregory G. "Gregg" Piper
1962 - 2024
Condolences
I lived next door to the Piper family for 12 years.Ages 4-16.
Greg and I were the same age. His dad built a rudimentary Enterprise in the garage. Complete with a captain's chair! He made lights and switches we could fiddle around with. We made phasers and communicators out of wood!
We even made our own uniforms. Greg somehow managed to get the badge. He was the captain.
Sad to hear of his passing.
His magic period was awesome too.
To the rest of the family... Take care.
Gregg and I met over 30 years ago at Trekfest in Riverside. We shared our. Passion for all things Trek over the coming years and visited each others homrs in Iowa and NY. I shall always keep his friendship clise to my heart and wish his family strength and comfort in this time of grief and loss with the passing of his mother as well.
I grew up with Gregg's daughter, Ashley. I'll always remember him sternly informing me that I WOULD be drinking my milk with dinner in the Piper house and how he instilled in me a curiosity about God through those formative years - things I wouldn't come to fully appreciate until I became an adult myself. Thank you for those lessons, Gregg. I echo the sentiments about his good sense of humor. I recall at his father Fred's funeral, Gregg greeted everyone with a smile and told us all his dad would want us to have a good laugh - in celebration of Fred's life. I'm sure Gregg would want the same for all of his friends and family today. He always seemed so solid in his faith. So, Gregg, Live Long and Prosper as you enter into this next phase of your adventure. I hope you're having a good laugh.
Much love to the Piper family.

We knew Greg and Brenda in the mid 1980's. After we moved to Omaha. They came to visit because he wanted pictures at the SAC Air Museum while wearing a WWII AIR CORP uniform he had. The museum let him in free as they were all military at that time. We had a big laugh over that. We lost track of each other over the years but I still cherish our friendship. Until later my old friend.
Gary, Paula and all the family sorry for your loss. You will all be in our prayers. Keep the good memories in your hearts forever. God bless you all.
thanks for the memories Growing up Cuz lots of fun Times,,,RIP.
