I was Charlie’s camp counselor the summer of 2019. I wanted to share this because it’s my favorite story during my time as a camp counselor. We were on our way to the pool and Charlie said “Ugh today could be tough, I don’t know if I can handle the fame”. We weren’t sure what that meant until we showed up and a swarm of random kids ran after them the second the kids saw them. I learned so much from Charlie that summer about how to be kind and patient to everyone. No matter how Charlie’s day was going they were making sure everyone around was laughing and smiling. Charlie will be missed greatly by the entire community.
