Where shall I Start? I met Linda in the late 70's when we worked at Univ of Iowa. When Linda graduated from college, she went to work for the Univ of Iowa from 1969 through 2007. After retiring she worked after school programs for two elementary schools. One I remember was Mark Twain where she went to grade school. She went bowling, took trips, worked for Iowa City Animal Shelter, helping the many cats that arrived there, giving them daily Loving care and helping them to find a new Forever Home. Went to the Casino at Tama to Play Bingo very successfully. Trips in fall to see leaves changing. But perhaps one of her greatest Joys was her nephews and niece. She LOVED their company. She LOVED dearly the many pets who shared their lives with her over the years. They were truly a source of Great Joy and Love. All but the last three Cats have crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. Linda was absolutely the most Loving Loyal Friend I was Gifted by GOD to have. She and I enjoyed many Good Times, Funny Times, as well as the Deaths of our parents, my brother and her sister. We laughed and cried a lot. We would talk at night 3 hrs at a time. I left Iowa in 1985 and had seen Linda once since then. She could call me anytime night or day as I could her. She and I knew everything about each other. She was my best Friend!!! If you are fortunate enough to have such a friend for Life as I had with Linda for more than 43 years, You are truly blessed. I know LINDA is SAFE and HOME in God's Kingdom. Nothing will ever hurt her again. I will Love and miss you My Dear Friend, until I see you again. PEACE
