Steve & Becky, I think the "Rat Pack" (Feaster, Vens, Papritz ), might have lined up a foursome with Bill already. Dale always spoke highly of your father. My sympathy. Debbie

To all of Bill's family, we are so sorry for your loss and ours.

He was a very good friend, a gentleman and a Gentle Man.

We have to many stories and memories to share here, but several of them would include golf stories. Bill taught us so much about golf and I (Linda) still putt the way he taught me and that is the strong point of my game.

We are so sorry we will not be there in person to offer our support because we are currently in Florida for the winter.

Hopefully we will see you in the Spring.

Bill was a fine man and a patriot. I always enjoyed golfing with him as he had the purest swing of any person his age. He served in the Navy in WWll the same time as my father and we shared a couple of tales of the lighter side of those times. I am glad to have called him friend. Lou

To Steve, Cary and Bill's family......

I was so sad to hear of Bill's passing. Steve is a childhood friend and classmate of mine and when we both visited in Iowa City, several times, I had the pleasure of playing golf with Bill. He had a smile that was contagious, a humor that was dry yet fun filled and a great person to share a golf round with.

I know, first hand, how hard it is to say goodbye to a loved one but he will now be at peace and will be with the love of his life again.

Cherish and treasure your memories and all of the good times that you had for all of the years that you held your dad and grandpa close in your hearts.

Let me start by saying, you are going to be missed by more people than you ever thought. You touched the lives of so many. You lit up a room with your smile and people drew to you just to hear you speak and brighten their day.

I will forever be grateful to have been your friend. You treated Margy and I like we were a member of your family.
