Condolences
Hey dad I didn't get to know you well but I really wish I would've things probably could of been different for us both but I know you loved me that's all that matters
Everybody that has ever been through Downy, Iowa with me has heard the story of us flying through that town at 140 miles an hour with that state trooper hot on tail. I then show them where you didn't make the turn onto Hwy 6 and that cop chased you through the cornfield in a combine. It wasn't a GOOD memory, but we had a hundred laughs about it over the years. Even 10 years later when you came to Florida to work for me. Brother, I will always remember and love you.
I was reading some letters Steve had written me. In one he said how much fun he had when he came to Tiffin and we played games. One game was hide the thimble and he hid the thimble in my hair nobody found it.. Funny how these thoughts keep popping into my head.
I will never forget the time when i took Steve to California to live with me and he stole my car and somehow picked up a stranger. He kept going around the block blowing my horn and laughing. He was a little ornery sometimes. He loved an adventure. I miss him terribly.
Steve, wherever you are now, I hope you find peace, Love ya, John
I've left a message on Steve's facebook and also in the memory book. Just wanted to light a candle for him and say that I miss him very much. Steve you did matter and you were loved. You were good enough, you were always good enough. I loved you
Stevie,
You will be missed my friend. I'm glad we had the time together to talk and share some life. I only wish it could have lasted longer. You made a difference in my life and I'll treasure the memories. From playing with you as a child at Carol Ann to working out at the Body Shoppe with you. They were very special times for me and although I have never been anyones candidate for father of the year, you always made me feel loved and important. I only hope I did the same. I'm so glad that the last thing I got to tell you was that I loved you and that you mattered. Your in Gods loving hands now. You've only moved from my eyes to my heart. Tell your Dad hello for me. Until I graduate and we meet again, goodbye for now.
Ease of peace and serenity. Sing as you go along!
About 1971 i was living with Linda,Dave and Steve going to west high school. I think Dave was working as a plumer and when he would come home from work he would play with Steve for hours. Steves nicname was Feve and or himhim Dave would lay on the floor and put Steve on his chest and then toss him up into the air almost all the way to the ceiling. I think I never saw a dad who had so much love for his son.
Norine, Bruce, and all - I just heard about Steve. So sorry for your loss and grief. Thinking of you all and praying for Steve and for your peace at this tough time.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Sincerely,
Moe
I'm so sorry for the loss of Steve. I loved him very much and not a single day will pass that I won't think of him and miss him deeply. I find comfort in knowing that I have a part of him with me always in our daughter Amanda. She is a lot like him. Steve you are in my heart forever my love.
I was sorry to hear about Steve's death, my heart goes out to Linda and her family and Joyce & Norine and their family. Steve was born on my 22nd birthday, he left us way too soon.
R.I.P. Steve
Hurts to post this about you Steve. I will always love you and will be missed greatly. I'm so lucky to have had you in my life all years. Not that I had a choice, you always made sure I knew where you at! (smiling). You are no longer suffering and finally at peace. I miss you so much.
Steve, I will miss you greatly! We had so many fun and crazy times together and with your brother John. We have always said we have a connection that keeps drawing us back together even after we have been apart. We had a sixth sense when the other was in trouble or hurting... i have to admit this one I would have never guessed. I will miss talking to you but I know you are taken care of and happy like you could never quite be here. So til later I love you and miss you. Chris
