Obituary of Edith P. Yedlik

Edith P. Yedlik, 95 formerly of Iowa City died Thursday, December 07, 2006, at the Hiawatha Care Center in Hiawatha. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Monday, December 11, 2006, at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City with the Rev. Dr. Herbert Isenberg officiating. Burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Iowa City. Visitation will be after 10am Monday until services. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in her memory to the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Cedar Rapids. Her family includes three children and their spouses, Karol and Larry Cooper of Cedar Rapids, Lloyd and Jane Sidwell of Longboat Key, FL, and Dr. Stephen and Carol Sidwell of Cordova, IL; twelve grandchildren, Jay (Melissa) Cooper, Jennie (Jim) Shanklin, Christy Hopcus, Laurie (Greg) Peterson, Lloyd Sidwell III, Dr. Richard (Lisa) Sidwell, David (Lynda) Sidwell, Jennifer (Doug) Zuercher, Teresa Sidwell, Mandy (Tim) Shaffer, Kara (Tom) Moore, and Justin Klatt; fifteen great-grandchildren, Katie, Sarah, Matthew, Nicholas, Cassie, Jacob, Jordan, Christopher, Lexi, Alena, Brittany, Ambrose, Thomas, Jenny, and Lily; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Jennie (Campbell) Breese; husbands, Lloyd Sidwell and Frank Yedlik; and brothers, John, Donald and Edwin Breese.
