Obituary of Rosa Vida Black
Rosa Vida Bischoff Black, age 101, died December 22 in the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics of causes incident to old age. She had been living with her daughter and son-in-law, Evelyn and Gerald Scott of Iowa City. She was born in a log cabin in Lovell, Wyoming, and lived most of her life in Wyoming and Utah. She was the mother of 8, grandmother of 32 and great grandmother of 100. Her husband, Clinton M. Black preceded her in death. She was the author of 10 books and received many awards, but she was proudest of her family. The family would like to thank Hospice and their volunteers for the wonderful care they provided during her last months of life. Services will be held in Utah. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Hospice or to the Rosa Vida Bischoff Black Memorial Scholarship Fund, First National Bank, 284 E. Main, Lovell, WY 82431 for college scholarships to students graduating from Lovell High School.
