Obituary of Lillian Puffinbarger

Her family includes two sons: Josh and wife Lani Puffinbarger of Oxford and John Puffinbarger of rural Floris, Iowa, grandchildren Sarah, Laura and J.R. Puffinbarger of Oxford, one sister Betty McElroy, one brother Lewis and wife Betty Crumes all of Ottumwa along with several nieces and nephews. Her parents and one brother in-law preceded her in death. Lillian was born on March 21, 1928 in Ottumwa, Iowa the daughter of Ray and Helen Heathcoat Elkins. She graduated from Ottumwa Schools and received her degree in nursing from the University of Nebraska, at Omaha. Lilly worked at Clarkson Hospital in Omaha and then at the Memphis Hospital in Memphis, Missouri. Two and a half years ago she moved to Oxford to be closer to her family and grandchildren.
