Very sorry to hear of Dick's passing. Memories of get togethers as far back as West Liberty are popping into my head. I'll always remember when Dad decided we kids could have a pony and we came to the farm to pick one . Of course it wasn't broke and Dick dragged that poor pony around the corral with a tractor to halter train him. You folks bought our house on Plum street when we moved to a farm for a year. We thought your house off N. Dubuque St. was the coolest place, especially after you had the pool installed. Dad and Dick were friendly competitors for the business as State Farm agents. I could go on but that would take too long. Giving you all virtual hugs.
I got my first insurance from Dick and spent some time at his home with his son, Dick Jr., when we both worked at Hy-Vee. He was a wonderful person from a great family. I’m so sorry for your loss.
To the Trimble family- I am so sorry for your loss. My sister used to work for Dick. I had the opportunity to visit with him whenever I stopped in to see my sister. What a great guy, so nice, AND funny. Thinking of your family at this sad time.
