My sympathies to Bob's family. Lyda I didn't know you were Bob's sister. Spent many a nights at Bob's Place always a good time. He treated everybody like they were family made everyone feel so welcome at the bar.
Rob and Sean,
Margaret and I want to send our condolences. Bob and I coached a lot of baseball together here in north liberty. Never forget the time we took a bunch of kids to Kansas City to watch a game. We were great friends. WE'LL MISS HIM.

Rob & Sean,
I'm very sorry to hear of Bob's passing and your loss. Bob & I became immediate and great friends when we worked at Jerry's Standard in the late 70's. His infectious laugh, our time working together and the many beers we shared along with the fun times are special memories. I'm sorry we lost touch with each other over the years but the friendship we shared always endured. Thinking of Bob always puts a smile on my face and I'm so glad our paths crossed. God Bless!

Bob was a loyal friend and came into my life on line playing Global Poker. His picture on line was a car that he was very proud of. My picture was a Bumblebee and my name was Queenbee. We be came friends right away. I lived in Florida at the time. After playing poker and talking on the phone for hours at a time. I finally decided to go to my hometown of Chicago and than to Iowa to finally meet Bob. We found out we were both the same age, and born the same month, We spent a full day together with a couple of my friends., that was 12years ago. I will truly miss this man I call my friend. He helped me through some tough times in my life. His son Rob called me to let me know about his dad. May Bob Rest In Peace. My condolences to All His Family. Love You Mr. B., I will never forget you.
You have my deepest sympathy. I always appreciated all Bob did for North Liberty.

Uncle Bob was a comfort to me when my Dad was away in Southeast Asia in 1970-71. He let us ride his horses, was always ready with a smile and an arm around my shoulder. It meant a lot as a six year old boy. Every time I saw him in subsequent years, Uncle Bob had a smile and a laugh, and he always seemed genuinely interested in what I was doing. I remember him fondly, a complex man with a big heart.
I'm so very sorry for your loss. There were many wonderful years of working for him and being a part of "the family" group. My thoughts are with you all.
