Condolences
Memories with Sam in Tipton in the 70’s and then in Iowa City (thanks to Mary Vining). There was an infectious smile and a good hearted friend.
She was a wonderful woman and will be greatly missed
So sorry for your loss!

Sam was a sweet loving person, had the prettiest smile , loved working with her at the factory, she was a fun loving person in the tool crib, then became a injection operator as the plant begun to close , she loved and talk about her family alot , and wine , we send our love thoughts and prayers to the all her family.
Sam was an amazing lady and will be missed by so many, I’m going to miss talking to her weekly about my cancer journey but I know she will be watching over .
My heart goes out to the family. Sam was part of our little group in injection molding those last couple of years at IAC when only people left were those of us who had been there for decades. She was a joy to work with, even on the hottest days and the coldest days, and when we all just needed a little break. She worked hard her whole life, and I'm just so sorry she didn't get to enjoy a retirement with her grandkids. Rest in Peace Sam. Say Hi to Denise for me.
My grandma was the sweetest person ever. She was always there when any of her kids and grandkids needed her. She made the best homemade Mac and cheese. She let me drink her coffee that she made me in her keurig. She gave her kids and grandkids the best Christmas and birthday presents. She was gone way too soon. She was the one that gave the best hugs to everyone in her family and friends. She even put out treats on the Christmas holidays. We would even play card games and one of the card games that she enjoyed playing with us was called squirrely. She shared her photo albums with us. She even let my oldest roommate come visit her house for Easter two years ago. She even let us grandkids take her dogs out for a walk. Her and grandpa always made everyone laugh and smile. Her laugh and smile was contagious because it always made our day. Even when our grandpa Scott had passed away two years ago she got us through the grieving process. When our grandpa Mike passed away a year ago she got us through the grieving process. When we had our family reunions in August she played bean bags and washers. And we hung out by the fire and joked about funny stories that we did back in the day. We even got to play in the creek and she would watch us play. I will miss her so so much. The memories that we made will be with us forever. Her love and everything that she left behind will live on forever. She will be greatly missed by many. I’m in so much pain. My whole body hurts. My head hurts my heart hurts and my stomach hurts. I will miss her laugh and smile. She was brought into this world for a reason because the lord knew that he wanted her to be a mom to her kids and a grandma to her grandkids. Lord and Jesus please take good care of my grandma. Keep her safe. Grandma please say hi to grandpa Scott and uncle Jeff for us. We all love you.
