Obituary of Joseph Paul Elliott Halstead

Joseph Paul Elliott Halstead was born Saturday, March 16, 1991, at 5:15pm in West Palm Beach, FL, to Tom and Jaylene Halstead. Joseph was a rambunctious boy who rolled over at 12 days old, walked at 7 months old (before he crawled), rode a 2-wheeled bike at 3 years old, and started building ramps to jump his bike shortly after. Joseph always kept his parents on their toes.

Joseph loved adventure, drawing, fishing, creating things with his hands, writing poetry and song lyrics, hanging out with his friends and family, especially his son, Grayson.  Joseph was an excellent artist and builder.

Joseph struggled with many issues in his life which led to many poor life choices; but he had a huge heart and was always ready to help out his friends or make everyone laugh with his goofy side.

Joseph’s biggest joy was his son, Grayson. They enjoyed fishing, camping, watching movies, and sledding together.

Joseph passed away at 11:59pm, August 21, 2024, at the age of 33. He is survived by his son, Grayson Halstead (mother, Aubrey Cahill), his parents, Tom and Jaylene Halstead, his sister, Jayanne Halstead, his brother, Elijah Halstead, his nephew, Jayvin Halstead, his niece, Onyx Halstead, his grandparents, Eutilio and Sharon Rivera, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends who loved him like family. Joseph was preceded in death by his grandfather, Paul Halstead, and his grandmother, Lyla Halstead.
