Was sad to learn of Linda's passing. She and Roger lived close to me. We shared plant appreciation. Amazingly accomplished woman. Quietly strong going about her life. May she rest in peace.

We are so sorry to hear about Linda’s passing. I especially loved her quiet, subtle sense of humor, her gentle demeanor, her keen intellect, and her excellent musicianship. Linda, together with Tempered Brass buddies Chuck Kreeb and Bob Engel, played in the Kirkwood Concert Band for several years under my direction — what a treat! My husband Ken also played as a substitute trombone player in the TB quartet and enjoyed her company. I will miss her encouraging words and her kindness. To family and friends: please accept our condolences on your loss of a very special woman.

Sorry to hear of Linda's passing. My husband Bill Laubengayer and I knew Linda and Roger from the music work they were involved in and later when Linda lived at Bridgewater. She was a lovely person and will be missed.

My wife Sherri and I mourn Linda's passing. She was a good woman and will be again.

• God is the Creator of life. The Bible calls Jehovah God “the source of life.” (Psalm 36:9; Acts 17:24, 25) The One who gave life to all living creatures is certainly capable of restoring life to someone who has died.

• God has resurrected humans in the past. The Bible reports eight instances of humans—young, old, male, and female—who were brought back to life on earth. Some had been dead for a short while, but one had been in a tomb for four days! —John 11:39-44.

• God is eager to do it again. Jehovah hates death; he views it as an enemy. (1 Corinthians 15:26) He has a longing to conquer that enemy, to undo death by means of the resurrection. He yearns to bring back those who are in his memory and to see them live on earth again. —Job 14:14, 15.
