I loved spending time with Auntie Max. She always ALWAYS had stories of the family to tell. The family was so huge she never ran out of memories to share! I never heard the same one twice. There was always something freshly baked or cooking in her kitchen. We never left the house without something to take home in a bag or box. Fresh produce, food, plants, seeds, old photographs, magazines, you name it. Linda, and all of your extended family - I'm so sorry you had to bid an earthly goodbye to SUCH a wonderful lady. I'm pretty sure you all heard stories, and I know you all have the precious memories you made with her to help you get through this difficult time. Love to all, Cindy

Maxine was a first cousin to my mother, Anita Madden Quinlan and also a niece to my great uncle on my Dad's side of the family, Homer Curry. I remember Lilly and Maxine attending the Madden family reunions that we had years ago at the Iowa City Park. Sorry for your loss Linda, and also your husband a few months ago. Patti Quinlan
