Obituary of Bradley Earle

Bradley "Brad" Wayne Earle, 70, Tipton, Iowa, passed away peacefully with family at his side on Friday March 29th, 2024 at University of Iowa Hospital.

Brad a loving husband, father and brother, was a City High grad, a (retired) lifelong loyal union man, member of Electrician’s IBEW Local 405, Yankees fan, and avid golfer.

Brad had been undergoing treatments for pancreatic cancer when he came down with pneumonia. Never giving up, and having just returned from a trip to Florida to visit his son Ben for a few holes of golf and Spring Training baseball, he was looking forward to the upcoming golf and baseball seasons and a trip to New York City for his birthday in June. Go Yankees.

Brad was a child of the 60's. He, his wife Chris, and son Ben loved the music of those times; Pink Floyd, Zappa, John Lennon and so many more.  They often traveled cross country to follow their favorite band, Widespread Panic, enjoying annual shows at Colorado’s Red Rocks and New Year's celebrations among many others.

Brad and Chris were married on his father's birthday, November 9th, 2001, which meant the world to Wayne.  Chris and Brad enjoyed the good life together, with laughter, quiet dinners, and their Morning Joe.  He was an avid golfer, and played as often as possible with lifelong golf buddies and son Ben.

Brad was much loved, and led a colorful life. He will be sorely missed by all, and by their kitty, June who passed 2 hours prior. His sense of humor and irony were a source of endless joy for those who knew him.

Brad is survived by his loving wife Chris, his son Ben, and his big brother Scott.  Brad was preceded in death by his father Wayne, mother Gen, and sister Sandy.
