I worked with Chuck 48 years ago at Gay's Locker in Iowa City. He was one of the most unforgettable people I have ever met. What a character even way back then. I always hoped I would run into him again somewhere along the line in the past decades but I never did. Thanks so much, Chuck, for all the memories and generosity back in those days. It was a pleasure to know you. My condolences to Chuck's family and friends.
There just wasn’t anyone like Gioimo! I met him while working at the City of Coralville Parks dept. His charisma and demeanor was unmatched. He was always happy! My sympathy to his family.
