Guerin, I was so sorry to read this. One of my dental school colleagues (who knew Mary Kay, not only as a a fellow College of Dentistry employee, but also as principal “Dr Thomason’s” wife) alerted me to it. One of the smartest things I ever did was coax Mary Kay into a part time, on-call as needed, job in the College. She was so bright and warm hearted. She was wonderful with the patients and a friend I could always count on. I’ve lost touch w/her over the years and that is my loss. My deepest sympathy to the best principal and student “role model” I ever knew. Hope you can feel my hug.
