Brian and I knew Terry before Camelle and Terry married in October of 1985.
Terry was so full of life and happiness and he was an absolute joy to be around. He was respectful, kind and gentle.
He found his soulmate when he and Camelle met.
Terry was an exceptional chef. I don’t think I can emphasize that enough. Terry had a twist added to the vast majority of the meals he prepared. He helped Camelle fill their home with love, laughter and fun. When Brian and I would visit, Terry could be found either in the kitchen, tending to food on the grill, keeping the fire pit going or sitting out on his deck enjoying his family. He always made more than enough food when Brian and I would come to town.
The family would gather at the Disterhoft’s house and Terry would be the host of the Mahoney clan.
From a proper chat to a long conversation, Terry remained engaged with you. I feel very blessed to have been part of his world. And I considered him more than family, as he also was a dear friend. If Terry wasn’t in the kitchen cooking, or running the blender because someone needed a drink, you’d find him out at his grill totally content making delicious main courses. We all loved Terry, as he made himself easy to love. I am sending my deepest condolences to Camelle, Devin, Drew & Ashley, Kim, Bob, Brian, Pat and all their significant others.
He has left a significant hole in his entire family.
May Terry’s BIG family find comfort as Terry is no longer suffering.
Sending all my love to his family and friends.
