Obituary of De'Arie Tru Amour Scott

De’Arie Tru Amour Scott passed on Dec 20th, 2023 at home with family. 

She was born at 1:42pm on Nov 16th, 2023.  De’Arie weight 4 lbs 4 oz to be exact.  She brought so much happiness, peace and joy to every life she touched during her short time she had on earth.

De’Arie is the daughter of Dwayne Scott and Treynae Westbrook. 

De’arie is celebrated by her siblings Kennedi, Kori and Kaydyn Scott;  Aunties Treylisa, Moshay; Uncles Desmond, Dejaun, Vanshawn, Terrell,lo; Grandparents, Colette, and  Ebbie.  She is also celebrated by many Cousin’s and grant auntie and grand uncles. 

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Melissa Westbrook, who is now holding her gently in heaven.

De’Arie gave us a lifetime of love.

Visitation will be held from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., Friday, January 19, 2024, at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service, 2720 Muscatine Ave., Iowa City, Iowa. A memorial service will take place at 5:30 p.m. immediately following the visitation.
