I worked with Maggie for four years at MCSA when she first started. We even travelled to a seminar in Kentucky together and had more fun than we probably should have! She was a joy to work with! She was innovative, but level headed and realistic. She accomplished the things she set out to do and helped the rest of us to do our jobs well. I have not seen her for several years, but she has always had a place in my heart.
Dear Tom & family ~
Maggie leaves a big void for so many. To me she was a dear cousin who was always upbeat and fun.
I will always remember her coming to our house after Pam passed - we got to sleep in mom & dad’s bed. We talked a lot that night.
Her sugar cookie baking was notorious in our large Villhauer family, bringing all her goodies in the wagon for us to frost. It was a treat to sit beside Tom, hearing his silly jokes and seeing his decorating finesse.
One year I went to their home in Muscatine to see how she bakes SO many. She taught me to roll dough on a tea towel -an invaluable technique I continue to use to this day.
Maggie is such a loss for us here, but what a gain for Heaven!
I write this from my daughter’s home in Chicago, on my way to Ohio to visit my older son & family. Sadly I will not be able to join everyone at either the visitation or funeral service. I am so sorry to miss! She will love knowing so many will gather in her honor.
I hope each hug you receive will give you comfort and strength for the days ahead. God Bless you all ❤️

Tom, Rick, Tim and family:
I am so very sorry to hear about Maggie.
We all had so many good times, and many good laughs with Maggie out at Bob's Mobil. She never met a stranger. Rest in Peace Maggie!
So sorry for your loss. In this photo, Margaret Ann, as Petronella, would call her, has some similarities of “Pat”. Sending thoughts and prayers to the Svatos family.

Oh Maggie, this is very tough news to hear today. I can't believe there won't be any more horse or dog pictures from you, for us to oohh and aahh over. Or any more 'checking in on you' notes from a dear life long friend. Or that we won't do that group lunch next time I'm home. You were a fun and funny friend. So many wonderful memories. Dear Tom and family--I am so deeply, deeply sorry for your heartbreaking loss of such a wonderful lady. She was a gem. She loved you all dearly, and was so proud of you! Please take care and keep that thought close. Rest in Peace dear Maggie. You are loved and will be deeply missed.
