Another sand road kid sends his condolences. I would hang out with her brother Craig and mostly remember Cory having the ceramics shop in the basement of the house I shared with Craig and Bob. There was always little Melena hanging out with her.

We all got a kick out of her. Cory was so pleasant to be around.

I was one of the Sand Road kids and always enjoyed spending time with Cory. She knew how to have a great time and was so full of life!! Remember all the good times and keep sharing her memories with all those grandchildren! Our sympathy to you and your family.

To Melena and family. I am so sorry for the loss of your mom. She was a big part of my high school years. She was a great person and always worth a good laugh. I don't have many memories of high school without her in them. I know this is a hard time right now, but know that she's not in pain anymore. I'm thinking of you all and wish I could be there to celebrate her.

. I know it has been years since I last saw you (Life does that) but upon hearing of your passing it brought back so many childhood memories. We basically grew up in that little “Sand Road neighborhood “ I remember us going to West liberty to the pool in your little Fiat convertible when you got your drivers license. But even before that, all the crazy country kid stuff we did growing up. The list is long! I remember probably one of the last times I saw you was in the basement of the old house (next to the log cabin) when you and your Mom were doing ceramics. You always were crafty. RIP Cory!
