Condolences
Dear family of Dale,
I don't get the newspapers, so unfortunately I did not read of his passing until today when I went online to check recent obituaries.
As some of you know, Dale and I were good friends. He was a mentor to me on things mechanical and helped me overhaul my Ford tractor engine. Dale and I shared many moments together over the years and I was able to help him change his water filters, only a small thing, but that was good. I was able to have a phone conversation with him a few months ago. He was a great guy and I shall miss him. Love, Tom Schulein.
So sorry to have read of Dale’s death. He was a wonderful person and will be thought of often and loved forever. May the joys you knew and the times you shared help you at this sad time. This Bible verse recorded in John 5:28 has been of comfort to our family when experiencing a loss. It reads “all those in the memorial tombs will hear his (Jesus Christ) voice and come out “. May God Jehovah give strength and his love to each of you.
I had the pleasure of serving with Dale for many years on the Johnson County Republican Central Committee. Dale was always someone we could rely on to provide sage advice, encourage and motivate volunteers, and always had a can-do attitude no matter what the task was.
He was someone I could always rely on to help with events and other projects that the Johnson County Republican Central Committee was involved in. He was a valued member of our leadership team.
My deepest condolences go out to the Petersen family. Well done, thou good and faithful servant, rest well.
Dale will be very missed at Grand Living at Bridgewater. He was so determined everyday despite his health struggles. He was very proud of his family and never missed an opportunity to share a story about them. I also witnessed a very devoted family that took such great care of him. I will miss him walking by my desk everyday and stopping to talk for a few minutes. -Jami Tandy (front desk at Bridgewater)
To the Petersen Family, it deeply saddens me to hear of your loss.
As I remember Dale the past 37 years.
In recent years Dale faced health issues that challenged him physically and emotionally. Despite these difficulties, he faced them with remarkable resilience, never letting his health deter him from embracing life and supporting his loved ones. His legacy will live on through the memories and lessons he imparted upon all those fortunate enough to have known him even if it was a small part of his journey. Dale's strength and determination were an inspiration to all who knew him, and his courage in the face of adversity left a lasting impression. It has been a privilege to have known him and I thank him and his family for allowing me to be part of some of the fun times you all have had together. He will be greatly missed!

My heartfelt condolences to Dales Family
I’m not sure where to begin . He was a great customer/ friend for a very long time . He was nicer then nice . He loved his wife Iola and family so very much. He was a very doting husband when she was at Briarwood. The staff there and Grand Living both loved Dale so much .
Dale would toot his horn whenever he drove down Friendship St if he saw me out in the yard working. He was just the best . He has now joined up with his beautiful bride . Sending my sincere sympathies for your loss but know he has lived a full busy life . Much love to all of you .
Spike
