Bonnie J Williams
1931 - 2023
Condolences
Monroe and Inez Bowman were farm operators on my Grandfather and Grandmother Null's farm during WW2. My grandparents lived in Ravenwood and Bonnie lived with them in 1943-44. I lived with them too that year because my father had been drafted and then my mother went to Virginia to be with him after he had a serious case of pneumonia. Bonnie and I were good friends and enjoyed winter sledding together. We often played the 42 domino game with my grandparents. I was in 4th grade and she was in 8th grade.
One day when school was not in session in Ravenwood, Bonnie and I visited her one room school (Casteel school, not Pioneer school). It was snowy and icy so grandfather let us out at the US 136-Liberty Road intersection and we sledded the two miles up the dirt road to the school. We spent that day with the Casteel students.
Please accept my sympathy for your loss.

Dear Bud and family,
Bud, you and Bonnie made such a great team! I cannot believe you were married for about 74 years -- what a special marriage! Thank you for serving City High XC together. Fond memories of Bonnie cheering us on in her XC sweatshirt while riding her golf cart...what a special lady!
Love, Megan Lantz
Bud and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Bonnie was such a wonderful lady. You both have always shown me such love and support in my life. My deepest sympathy and condolences.
Bonnie was my coworker in the City High Library. She taught me the ropes when I started there. She was a hard worker, and had a wry humor and a great smile. Condolences.
My heart goes out to you Bud and family. Bonnie was such a sweet and wonderful person. Her support and smiles with City High cross-country will always be remembered. Love and hugs for strength during this difficult time.
You will be missed Bonnie! Thank you so much for your years of support to CHS XC. As an adult I realize all the behind the scenes work that went in to making the group what it was, and you were an invaluable part of the team.
Condolences to the family,

She was a great statistician, general organizer and friend to the City High runners and their families. And we’ve enjoyed the occasional contacts ever since. She will long be remembered.
