We have not met your mother, but Susan is one of the most thoughtful people which leads us to know your mother was a gem! Our prayers and thoughts are with you and your family.

So sorry at the loss for the family. I have only seen my cousin Virginia at thr annual DeLancey reunions. I remember when Geoge, Ginny, Tom and Susan came to visit us when we lived in Massachusetts.i always enjoyed visiting with Geoge and Ginny.

I was so sorry to hear about your mother. Of course, she was great fun to talk to, and our parents always praised her for her intelligence and civic activities. But she touched me the most when I was cleaning out 419 Terrace Rd -- she was excellent support, very empathetic. I remember her bringing me boxes one day and cinnamon rolls another. And she helped me to put everything into perspective. I cannot forget this kindness.

Karen and I just read of your mom's passing in the Gazette. Please know that we are sending our heartfelt condolences. What a life of accomplishment and community impact! While I met your mom only once or twice, Karen knew her well from St. Mark's United Methodist and remembers her fondly as a deeply welcoming, highly engaged, and energetic member of that church community.

Aunt Virginia was one of my favorite Aunts. She always was FUN and encouraging throughout my life. Baking tips, sewing tips and showed me some great card games. Always hospitable and sent notes on birthdays not only to myself but to my family as well.
