Condolences
I was glad to know Shirley in the 1980s (and Ron, of course). She helped me through a difficult time.

Cousin Shirley & Family….i am shocked and stunned and terribly sad. I just searched you on Facebook to see about mailing some of your dad’s old letters that mom (Helen) had saved. I am SO very sorry to have learned you have passed. I hold dear the memories of you, Charlene, and your dad at our house on Amick Ave - first cousins and always fun to be together. My sympathies to Charlene, Ron, and the rest of your dear family. With love….and may you already have joined your dad, mom, Aunt Helen, Uncle Ivor & cousin Connie.
Dear Ron and Family, I am so terribly sorry that Shirley is gone. The world truly is lessened by her passing. Shirley brought light, hope, and love to literally countless women. I am sure you know that she saved many lives with her willingness to share so generously of her wisdom and experience. Words are not adequate to share the depth of sadness that I feel at her being gone, or the gratefulness that I feel at having been in her life. There are some blessed people that truly do operate on a higher plane - Shirley was one of those people. I will always love and miss her, and undoubtedly think of her many many times in the future.

Ron and family, you have my sympathy and love through this loss of Shirley. She was a 2nd mother to me and saved my life. She was a beautiful light in so many lives and I'm sure she's looking down on you with those beautiful brown eyes and smiling. She loved her family more than anything in life ❤. May God's love surround you at this time.
Love and hugs to you all.
Ron and Family I am so sorry for your loss. Shirley inspired and encouraged a lot of people over the years. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Ron and family, I am so sorry to hear of Shirley's passing. Thinking of you all during this time of sorrow.
Kelly and Karen, I am so sorry for your loss. Shirley acted as my "remedial " tai chi instructor on several occasions. She was so kind, patient and funny and very proud of you both. My heart is with you.
