To Peggy’s family,

I am so sorry for your loss. I was a 1978 graduate with Peggy. She was always so smart and so strong.

A few years ago about 12 of us classmates met for lunch in Morris. Peggy was there with us and I am SO grateful I got to see her and hear about her incredible world after High School.

We are so sorry to hear about Peggy! We always enjoyed her presence here at North Dodge Athletic Club. She was a member here for MANY years. She was always so kind and polite and we enjoyed seeing her here. Always had a smile on her face. She will be greatly missed!

Peggy,

The years that you took care of me will be unforgettable. You were so generous and patience (and tough!) to a rebellious teen that needed your care. You were always so proud to be mistaken for a high school student when you were trying to chase me through the school halls. When I graduated high school you were so embarrassed because you came to the party decked out in your Sunday best when you were always most comfortable in a T-shirt. Our friendship didn't stop with your nursing care.

You were so focused on generosity that you were always trying to find ways to help the community that you chose. You found ways to turn your collections into charity drives, organized Light the Night, and would stop to help ANYONE.

I'll miss sharing in the latest cultural trends from Pokemon and Game of Thrones to Apple and Netflix shows. I'll miss the super spicy garlic pesto that you made, and the days we'd make potstickers by the batch. I'll miss having you over for a pot of chili.

I'll miss you Peggy.

Peg- You were a role model for so many women. We didn't know each other well, but you always offered me nothing but kindness when you did see me. Your photography skills always amazed me. A real professional.

I cannot convey my sadness.

You were, in my opinion, one of the kindest , most authentic souls I have ever known.

I need to attend to my mother tomorrow morning ( something I know you understand) so sadly will not be able to make your service.

Know that you are in my heart and my prayers go out to your loved ones and family.

This world would be a better place my dear Peg if we had more people like you.
