To Mike's family: I am sorry that I only now knew that Mike had left the earth. We had been talking about him tonight at dinner at Melrose Meadows. Mike lived here for a time, zipping around in his zippy chair. I always was delighted to be sitting at his table, because one never got bored there. Mike started our Trivial Pursuit game here (that's what brought up his name), which continues to this day. He was so brilliant that he was one team and whoever else came was the other team. I wish we had known more about his background - we only knew he was a journalist from the Anamosa area. Many of us missed him when he moved to an apartment, and I know a few residents kept in touch with him. Rest in peace, Mike. You gave a lot to this world.
