My dearest Aunt Cheryl was a beautiful woman who most wanted to love and to be loved. I know her children and grandchildren were most precious to her. I hope her family thinks of Cheryl often and remembers the fun and happy times they shared with her.

My condolences to the family. The loss of a loved one hits us really hard when they're not by our side anymore. But wouldn't you give anything to be able to see them again? In Acts 24:15 says: And I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous. Not only we would see good people like Cheryl Ann, we would see people that had a good heart and never had the opportunity to know God. I hope this scripture from the Bible brought comfort to the Figueroa family.

I briefly taught a church class for children with Cheryl. She was so happy and nervous and proud of being trusted with that responsibility. It was a pleasure to watch her joy as she interacted with the kids.

My mom had a hard start, middle and end of her life. But she loved her grandchildren so much. There was year that were hard for her and i. But the children loved her. With her city pool swimming days every summer and quick stops at McDonald just to say i love you.

I remember the day this young teenage girl at 17 said she wanted a baby and was having a baby boy to love and hold forever.

My mom got upset and stated “im to young to be a grandmother!”.

We let me tell you once that blue eyed baby boy made his way to this earth. There was love at first site on both sides.

To that sweet baby boy that made “grandma’s Cheryls” as her first grandson Damein Wilkinson 11-09-2001. You guys love and bond will never be broken.

I know she will be watching above smiling for all of her 7 grandchildren that she loved so much.
