Obituary of Angela M. Betts-Linares

Angela M. Betts-Linares passed away November 4, 2022 in Iowa City. She was 44 years old. Angela was born June 24, 1978, the daughter of Jeffrey and Deborah (Burrell) Betts. Angela struggled for a long time with her heart, but she never let that get her down. She shared all of her light and joy with everyone. If she was smiling, you were smiling. She pushed us to do better in life and keep our strength no matter how hard things got. She loved her affirmations and had them all over her room and had us all writing them with her. Her love of music kept her smiling and singing around the house even through the toughest times. She loved her grandchildren more than anything. Angela’s memory will be carried by all who love her. Angela’s family include her children, Taylor (Ethan) Anderson, Malea (Jenarris Stamps) Betts, and Jeremiah Betts-Linares; grandchildren, Judah Anderson, Shiloh Anderson, Noah Anderson and Jovan Betts; siblings, Scott Burrell, Jeff Betts and Julia Emmons; and father, Jeffrey Betts. Sadly, Angela is preceded in death by her mother, Deborah. Funeral arrangements for Angela are currently pending and updates will be published when they become available.
