Obituary of Connie K. Baines

Connie K. Baines, age 78, passed away September 25, 2022 in Iowa City. Connie is with our Heavenly Father. Her life purpose and love was for her family, late husband Ray, and sons, Robert and Scott. Connie graduated University High and was a member of Christ the King Church. Connie enjoyed spending her time working for Johnson County Red Cross, teaching classes for CPR, 1st aid, and swimming. She assisted on the blood donation vehicles, volunteered for the Congressional Disaster Relief program and worked on developing elderly welfare programs. Connie received many certificates and accolades throughout her life for her service to the community. Connie’s family include her sons, Robert and Scott; granddaughter, Jasmine; and siblings, Marvin Keefer, Steven Keefer, Ronnie Keefer and Susan Schaaf. A simple cremation has been arranged for Connie in accordance with her wishes. Please continue to keep her family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
