I remember when I was growing up, him coming to our farm & bringing a ziplock full of shiney quarters. By the time the nights ended, I'd always have won his whole purse! Weather it be shooting trap or playing black jack, he was always playing the odds .... even against a child!
Later on, as I got older, we would go on pizza nights at Pagliai's. We'd get a palace & talk about life. Then he'd toss me the keys & let me drive his vette back home on the winding, twisting roads with no lines.
Those drives on those unmarked, paved roads were my favorite. Still are ~
I will always love & cherish the times we had.
Rest easy, Bobby Sue
