Obituary of Cindy F. Mize

Cindy F. Mize passed away July 23, 2022, in Houston, Texas. She was 58 years old. Cindy’s family will receive guests at Gay and Ciha Funeral and Cremation (2720 Muscatine Ave., Iowa City) on Saturday, July 30, 2022, from 1-2 pm, concluding with a service at 2 pm. Graveside Services will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Cindy was born November 18, 1963, in Sapulpa, Oklahoma, the daughter of Bill and Nancy Taylor. Cindy was a vibrant and passionate soul. She was a fantastic wife, mother and grandmother. Cindy loved to cook and would make outstanding meals for her family. She was incredibly generous with her love and wisdom and had a strong, unwavering faith in Jesus. Cindy will be tremendously missed, but her memory and legacy will be carried on by all who love her. Cindy’s family include her husband of 40 years, Seth; children, Seth (Jennifer) Mize II, Brandon (Amanda) Mize, and Lisa (James) Ridgeway; grandchildren, Noah, Samantha, Eli, Ella, Isaiah, Theodore, and Grace; and siblings, Billy, Wendell, Wendy, Sara, Stephanie and Steven.
