Obituary of Charles T. Hardy

Charles T. Hardy, scientist, finance professional, and inventor in the pharmaceutical industry, died on June 26, 2022, at his mother’s home, in Iowa City, Iowa. He graduated from the University of Iowa with a B.S. in 1986, an MBA in 1998; from the University of Washington with an M.S. in 1989, and ph.D. in 1993. For years Dr. Hardy was employed by life science companies or as a consultant. He was the inventor of a series of technologies for intercellular drug delivery. Charles is survived by his brother Matthew, niece Christine, and mother, Nadine. He is preceded in death by his father James C. and brother, Allan. Graveside Services will be held at 11 am, Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at Oakland Cemetery in Iowa City.
