Obituary of Sandra Jean Roberts

Sandra Jean Roberts passed away June 18, 2022 at her home in Iowa City, Iowa. She was 78 years old. A Celebration of Life for Sandra will be held on July 30th at Marr Park (2943 IA-92, Shelter #2, Ainsworth, IA 52201) from 1 – 4 pm. Sandra was born November 23, 1943 in Norfolk, England, the daughter of Tomas and Phillice (Bullock) Pegg. Sandra will be remembered as a very feisty, ornery, but caring person. She was a tremendously hard worker who maintained her motivation to achieve her goals for herself and her family. When she wasn’t working, she enjoyed checking out local garage sales, shopping and spending time with her family. Her passing has left a hole in the hearts of those who love her, but her memory will continue on through her family and friends. Sandra’s family include her daughters, Kim Roberts and Joanne Paisley; grandchildren, Matthew Riggan, Mitchel Riggan, Ethan Paisley and Aiden Paisley; siblings, Bobby and Tom; and her feline friend, Tigger. Sadly, Sandra is preceded in death by her sister, Janet; and parents, Tom and Phillice. Please continue to keep Sandra’s family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
