Obituary of Dale R. Novak

Dale R. Novak passed away May 16, 2022 in Iowa City. He was 59 years old. Dale’s family will receive guests at Gay and Ciha Funeral and Cremation (2720 Muscatine Ave., Iowa City) for visitation on Sunday, July 3rd, from 12-1 pm, concluding with a Celebration of Life service at 1 pm. Dale was born July 4, 1962 in South Dakota; the son of Vincent and Lonnie Novak. Dale went on to serve his county in the United States Marine Corps and later continued to help build this country by working within various construction trades throughout his career. Dale is survived by his children, grandchildren, several siblings, and numerous friends. Dale’s memory will be carried on by all who loved him.
