I just came across this today. What a profound loss. A wonderful, quiet and humble man and my teacher from the late 80's. May you rest in peace Milind. Gone way too soon.

Milindiji lived a true Vedantic life. Quiet and simple. Few spoken words, no ego, no controversies, no ill thoughts about anything or anyone.

His heart was big. Volunteering always, to help so many youngsters, so quietly. Always opening his house to the masses, every year, never expecting anything in return. Year after year after year, he worked hard, to decorate, to create an ambience, of warmth and love, to welcome the entire community, to his house, to a place that smelt of divinity.

A divine soul on a divine journey. It's not a surprise that he chose to leave for Vaikuntha on Vaikuntha Ekadashi. His life celebrated on Makar Sankranthi. This is no coincidence.

Few such people have walked this Earth, and we are so lucky to have known him.

My wife Asha and I met Milind ji and Gauri ji and Children on several occasions during our visits to Iowa and theirs to Bloomington and Central Illinois. Milind ji has been known for his simplicity and service to society. He was always thoughtful and soft spoken.

His devotion to Sewa and community service will always be remembered. We pray for Peaceful Journey, sadgati, for the parted Atman.

Please accept my deepest sympathy at the passing of Milind. I worked with him at CBB in the office. Milind had great dedication to the CBB and worked long hours to accomplish the many tasks for which he was responsible. He was also a deeply religious man and made an effort to expose others to those beliefs - I remember attending a festival at his home with dancing and many delicious foods.
