Sending belated condolences to the Lavely family. We lived next door on Giblin Drive, and I was treated like a member of the Lavely family. I remember Betty helping us across the street and also her role helping the Boy Scout troops. I remember your mother’s giggle. We were very sorry to hear of Betty’s passing. We were square dancers with the Ocean Waves Square Dance Club and always enjoyed dancing with Calvin and Betty. They were very enthusiastic dancers. I'm so sorry about your dear sweet Mother. I used to exchange hugs every Sunday at church with Betty & Calvin. I'm glad they are together now. Heaven is a brighter place I'm sure. May our Lord bless and comfort you and your family.
Sorry to hear of Betty's passing. She was a sweet lady. I remember seeing them last at the Farmer's market in Iowa City. I have a few if your Dad's wood pieces and Betty was always there to support him. My family has known Calvin and Betty for many years. May She and Calvin rest in peace.
