Condolences
Pat and family. Matt and I are so sorry to hear about Ray. We always enjoyed seeing him at office parties. You have our deepest sympathy. Matt and Carmela Lovelace
Colleen and my condolences and prayers to you Pat, Chris, Betsi and all of yours. I called Ray, Ray the dream Beem. He handled his life like he was living a perfect dream. Ray was a mentor and friend. I often thought of how Ray would handled a professional situation. When I listened to those thoughts it turned out well. Again our condolences and prayers for a man I have tremendous respect for.
Pat, Chris and Betsi, my heart goes out to you. I enjoyed seeing Ray every time I did. He was such a solid, loyal, reliable, funny guy. He was what everyone would want in a father, a friend, a teammate, an employee or co-worker, a man.
When I think of the appreciation we all have of the quiet heroes of the heartland, I think of Ray. He had so many great friends because he earned them. We will all miss him.

Pat, I am so sorry. Ray was such a nice guy and it was so much fun knowing you two and hanging out in the 1970’s. I wish I would have kept in contact with you two but life and distance happened. Ray had a wonderful smile and a kind heart I will miss him. Much love to you and your kids, Diane Donnelly-Nelson
Ray and I were pals since high school. I will always appreciate the friendship we had and the fun memories it gave to both of us.
I'm so sorry for your loss of Ray !! He was a great man and honest to work with at the University of Iowa and was always helpful. May you all find peace and strength during this time.
So sorry for your loss. Ray was a true friend. I loved him like a brother
I remember him keeping us safe as we watched the Thriller video during a sleepover :) All my love to you, Pat, Betsi, and Chris. I'm so sorry.
My sincere condolences to the Beemer Family. I met Ray at the weekly Poker games. When anyone would get a four of a kind we would say you have a Ray hand. I really enjoyed playing cards with him and will miss him at the poker table.
Such a great guy! I met Ray in college at IOWA. We were both the REC Deparrment studies. HE later hired me as a Supervisor that the brand new Coralville Rec Center in about 1970 or 71. His brother Steve was in my class at City HIgh. (67) I will miss Ray and his good sense of humor, his infectious laugh, and his long time friendship. MY condolences to the Beemer Family.
My sincere condolences to the entire Beemer family. Ray was a true professional, and I was lucky to have him as a colleague and friend while at the University of Iowa. I will cherish the laughs and great memories of my time spent with Ray.
Rest in peace, Ray.
