Obituary of Beverly Jean Bollinger

Beverly Jean Bollinger, 73, of Iowa City, died Thursday, November 18, 2021, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City. Beverly Jean (Cariens) Bollinger was born April 14, 1948, in Johnson County, Iowa, to Grant Cariens and Florence O’Leary. Bev married John David Bollinger on December 16, 1969, in Rock Island, Illinois. Bev will be missed by her cherished family and her friends, but her memory will be carried by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband John; her son, Randy Cole; and her daughters, Lori Bollinger and Sherrie Bollinger. Bev was preceded in death by her son, John David Jr. Private family services have been held, and cremation has taken place in accordance with Bev’s wishes at Gay and Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City.
