Gary A Schooley
1947 - 2020
Condolences
Sorry to hear of Gary's passing. I knew him from West Branch when he would come in for gas at the Skelly Station. I also used to see him with his lawn equipment in Iowa City. He was a hard worker.

Kelly, I am so sorry to hear of your loss, please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I didn’t know that Gary was your Dad, I got to know him when I was a teller at West Bank. He was a very sweet man, always had a smile on his face. With my deepest sympathy, your friend Sharon Elder.
Dear Kelly, Stacy, and Schooley Family, My condolences. I am sorry and know that your family will miss your dedicated spouse, father and grandfather. I am sorry for your loss in these upside down times. Take good care of yourself and each other.

I am saddened by your loss. Gary way my favorite Schooley cousin. I will think of him every time I pass someone mowing their yard riding on a John Deere lawn tractor. I have many memories of visiting the farm and helping him and Uncle Don trim the edges of the plots they mowed. Please stay in touch and, when travel and family visits become normal again, I will plan a trip that way and hope to see you all. God Bless.
I did a lot of growing up in the Schooley household. They treated me like family and Gary would give my brother and I tractor rides. He was a very compassionate and caring man and will be missed by many.
Lou and all my prayers go out to you. I have so many memories of family get togethers. Gary will be missed.

Lou, When meeting you after I started working at St. Mark's UMC I realized that you, Gary and the kids were a family. I knew Gary when he was in high school and had lost track of him until my days at St. Mark's. Gary was always one that would stop and chat. He had a great smile that warmed the heart. So sorry to learn of his passing. May he be at a better place and out of pain.
My sympathy to you and the family.
Met Gary when I worked at University 66 after high school and he would drop by for gas. Always ready for one more enduro. Great guy and a good friend.
