Traci was a beautiful soul--and still is and always shall be. Forever now, she sparkles on High and within the hearts of all who knew and loved her. I am thankful to have gotten acquainted with Traci through cooking together, taking walks, and going to Special Olympics and Best Buddies events. In spending time with her, I was often touched by her courage, determination, contagious enthusiasm, and pure joy. She truly loved life and people. She was an encourager extraordinaire. For all who mourn her passing, I offer my sincere condolences and prayers that you will be comforted by fond memories of Traci and the hope and promise of resurrection through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Traci was a star at Camp Courageous...everyone loved her. With her first visit being in 1984 for week long and one of her last visits being with the Travel Program last year to the State Fair, Traci's vest for life and adventure was an inspiration to all. She will be dearly missed here....
I remember meeting Traci at the first-ever National Games in Ames back in 2006; even at that time, I could tell what a friendly, kind-hearted and caring person she was. She was also someone who gave it her all in everything she did, including as an SO Iowa athlete and Global Messenger; in all the time I knew her, I don't believe I ever saw her without a smile on her face.
I am thankful to have had the chance to know Traci and her friendly, outgoing personality through Special Olympics and being Global Messengers; she will always be a friend to me and countless others whose lives she touched through the years. May she rest in peace.
To Traci's family, my sympathies on your loss and thank you for sharing her with us.
