Sending our sympathy to you and your families at the loss of your mother. I remember spending time getting to know Joy at First Federated Study Club meetings. I am still involved in study club and we often remember those members no longer participating. May God be your strength each day.

I was sorry to hear of Joy's passing. She and Ken were very good friends of my parents (Joe and Jane) while I was growing up in Knoxville. As far as I know, she was the last member of that group. I have nothing but happy memories of them both--they were the most entertaining couple I can remember as a child. They were a generation that is greatly missed.

I'm sorry for your family's loss. I hope you find comfort in God's promise of a resurrection & in the many wonderful memory's you made & shared together. You have my condolences.
