Obituary of William Dollman

William “Bill” Dollman, 69, died May 27th at his home in Iowa City.

Bill was born August 5, 1948, to Hollis R Dollman and Irma (Minder) Diercks. He grew up in Muscatine Iowa. In 1972 he married Carol Thomas and moved to Iowa City where he worked for Iowa City Transit and later for the City’s parking and treasury departments. He retired in 2003.

Bill’s family includes his wife, Carol; two children, Doug (Tera) Dollman of Ankeny, Iowa, and Kris (Jim) Stoll of Sauk Rapids, Minnesota; and two grandchildren, Ella and Nolan Dollman.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Iowa City Animal Shelter or Iowa City Hospice.
