Please accept my condolences on your loss. I didn't know Dr. Rim personally but knew that he and his grad students helped bail out the Dept. of Physics and Astronomy when they were having difficulty getting the Hawkeye spacecraft down to a weight that could be flown. They came up with a framework that was both elegant and functional.

I am very sorry to hear about your father's passing. I knew you in high school and got to know your father when I was in the Biomedical Engineering Department at the University of Iowa in the 1980's.
