What a great lady. Tough and fun. She knew how to lay down the law by the time us punks showed up. Condolences and much love to the Kasik's and family.
My husband & I had the great opportunity of meeting her at our home & we loved her from the moment that we met her! What a wonderful legacy!!
Love to all! Lynn & George Carroll :)
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this difficult time. I met Sherle through the University Hospital gift shop and volunteered with her several times over the years. I am so glad that I had the privilege of knowing her. I am so sorry for your loss.

I'm so very sorry for the families loss Sherle always will have a very special place in my heart. I learned so much from her from cooking to gardening her life has touched so many in such wonderful ways.
Sherle was a good friend to us and an amazing person in general. Our sympathy to the family and her other friends.
I am so sad to hear about Sherle. John & Sherle were a big part of our Parkinson's Exercise classes in Cedar Rapids. She was always his encourager, even when he didn't want her to be. I always admired her strength and determination to get John to classes. Please accept my sincere condolences. I wish you peace and comfort.

I was so sorry to hear of Shirley’s passing. I will miss her friendship & seeing her at garden club. I am in Mexico for the winter, so will not be able to attend her funeral, which I regret. But my thoughts & prayers will be with you
