We were very saddened to hear of Marcia’s passing. We were regular bread customers for several years and often say how good a piece of her oatmeal or cinnamon raisin bread would taste now. She was a wonderful baker. I was also privileged to attend a Farm Bureau Women’s luncheon with Marcia and just remember what a good time we had. How Marsha will be missed. She taught our daughter to sing while going to Christ the King Lutheran Church when Whitney was a very little girl. I always remember the day our daughter came home from a practice and told me her teacher had the most beautiful voice. I was pleased that such a little child would acknowledge and mention that. I think I told Marsha that every time I met her. She was a very sweet person.

I’m so sorry to hear Marcia had passed on. I remember being at the farm and hanging out with Janet, Marcia was always so nice and good natured about everything. She seemed to take everything in stride, even four kittens hanging off the screen door meowing up a storm when they couldn’t figure out how to get inside or get off the screen door.

Marcia was a dear friend of my grandparents Barb and Bud Barnes. A lot of our childhood memories at the farm and our annual fishing trip to Minnesota involved Kenny and Marcia. Her smile brought me nothing but pure joy as a young girl. She had one of the purest hearts and we were blessed to have known her. The world lost a wonderful woman and she will always have a special place in my heart. My condolences go out to the entire family. We are so sorry for your loss and wish you peace and strength during this time of grief.
