I'm so sorry that we never got to meet in person, my multiple myeloma Facebook friend and warrior. It sounds like you were a wonderful person and will be missed by all. Me included.
Rick and family,
I'm so sorry for your tremendous loss. I worked with Kim at Mercy and enjoyed her so much. I always liked hearing her stories as the kids grew up. She was always upbeat and positive. She's watching over you and will continue to guide you. Hugs to you all.

To my fighter friend, you bravely fought a hell of a fight, you and Monica can rest with no pain or worries, please watch over and guide me as I will keep fighting the fight, till we meet again. You where a beautiful happy soul, always had the right words to help me make sense of this madness, I will still look for your wisdom often, in hopes of understanding this world we have been given. Kim was definitely one of those all around nice people who was a friend to all. I remember her from high school and was glad we got to reconnect on Facebook years later and catch up with fellow
Classmates occasionally (we were just supposed to meet up again next week). My heartfelt condolences to her close friends and family. I'll miss her humor and her positivity, she was definitely a ray of sunshine to many.
Kacena-Glawe families... Though Kim was 4 yrs older than me and we didn't hang out I've known Brian, Shawn and Steph for yrs, we talked on social media and she gave the best advice, always seeing the positive and cared so much for others! My heart truly breaks for all of you, this physical world is a little less bright now that's she's gone but oh she's def lighting it up stairs.. God bless and I'm sorry from every fiber of my being- ❤ Shell
I'm so very sorry for the loss of your beautiful wife and mother. I worked with Kim at Mercy many years ago and then reconnected through FB. I always admired her positive attitude and love for life. May the beautiful memories you shared give you peace and comfort. Rest In Peace dear Kim.
I only met you once or twice Kim. I worked with your husband at Cantebury Amoco. The loss of anyone at this young age is awful. My thoughts and prayers go out to your entire family. May God comfort them and you in this time of grief. Rest in peace.
I am so sorry for your loss, Rick, Becca, Megan and DJ. I had worked with Kim at Mercy for many years. She was definitely one of my favorite people. Always cheerful, even when she didn't feel like it. I loved her laugh. She had the gift of gab and I always loved hearing about her family. She was so proud of all of them. This woman knew how to get stuff done, too. She will definitely be missed. May God give you strength during this very difficult time.
Dear Kacena Family,
I worked with Kim at Mercy Hospital. She was such a wonderful lady with a great sense of humor. She will be dearly missed. She talked so much for her love of her family and always had great things to say about all of you. I will miss her smiling face. Prayers to all of you.
My deepest sympathies to Rick and their children as well as her other family members. Kim was a kind soul and an inspiration to so many with her positive outlook. Many prayers and blessings to you all through this time of sorrow.
So deeply sorry for you and your family's loss. I only met Kim once but feel as I know her much better than that from the conversations we have had over the years about Kim. You made it very apparent that you loved her deeply. I know with time you and your family will persevere. Take care my friend and I'll be thinking of you. Jeff.
Dear Rick, Becka, Megan, DJ, and Kim's many friends, family members and fans,
My condolences. She fought like a girl and shared her love of life with many. Being a Mom to her three lively children and being a devoted spouse to Rick were her passions. The hole in your hearts is shared by many. I am so sorry. Mary McCarthy
