Thank you Tom for the time you spent with our son Seth. I hope you knew how much those bicycle rides meant to him. Bless you Nate for the friendship you share with Seth. We remember you as teens and now you are dads. We wish your family peace and prayers at this difficult time.

I will sincerely miss Tom. We worked together at an "English as a second language" class for Hispanic people at Parkview and we shared the gospel together many times. We remember Tom when he built their house in the 80s and the start of their store years ago. Our prayers are with Mary, Nate, and Mindy at this time.

And u made many visit to the hospital. With him having such a stong belief in the Lord, We are all blessed for and he touched so many lives. I am so sorry to hear of Tom's passing. I followed his progress closely on Caring Bridge. I was so happy to get to see him at church the last time I was in Iowa City. The good news is that he is with Jesus and isn't suffering anymore. I know that he will be deeply missed. Unfortunately, I can't make it to the funeral tomorrow, but please know that my prayers are with you all going through this difficult time.

I'm so sorry to hear about Tom's passing. He was an amazing man. He was our church youth group leader when I was young and had such a positive impact on my life. God bless the Sunblad family.

Forty years ago Tom was my High School youth leader. As a young man Tom loved, cared and ministered to us. I was bitter and rebellious and could have easily walked away from God. But God used Tom to nurture me back to Him. Tom spent long hours praying and sharing God's Word with me. He ultimately hired me to work construction with him for a year before I went to University. During that time Tom continued to minister to me daily as we worked together. And if I am honest, I was not easy but Tom was patient. I thank God for those few years with Tom and how He used Tom to help shape my life.

Mary and family we are so sorry for your loss and we are praying for you that God will supply comfort and peace. "We do not grieve as those who have no hope". Tom is in the presence of his Savior!

Sorry to hear of Tom's passing. I remember helping Tom on Dean and Harold Blooms farms. Tom is a good man.

Mary and family--I am so sorry to hear of your husband/father 's passing. I have been thinking of you constantly and the busy life you must be leading. My Mom passed of leukemia. I know the feeling of having so much hope and then realizing the person is soon going to be at peace and in a better place. His ability to solve most any installation problem or to quickly adjust his schedule to accommodate our "emergency " kept him dear to our hearts.
