While I did not get to know his family well, I did have the pleasure and delight of getting to know and enjoy Quinn through his friendship with Jared - they were two peas in a pod and I know Jared is definitely going to miss his pod partner :(. Quinn was a wonderful friend, confidant and gentle counselor to Jared and I am so thankful for all the inspiration and wisdom he shared unconditionally with Jared. You raised a wonderful young man who has been taken from this world too soon but has left us all with a lifetime of joyful memories and better people as a result of his endless spirit which we can now carry in our hearts forever. I was so saddened to hear of Quinn's passing. I hadn't seen him in years (since Bob and I lived in the trailer court and Bryan brought him and Autumn over to play with our kids). However, whenever I saw Bryan over the years and we would catch up on family, his eyes would just light up talking about Quinn and Autumn. A proud dad for sure! My heart goes out to you all at this very dark time and I will continue to keep you all in my prayers.

Dearest Houlahan Family, I cannot express enough how very very sorry I am for your loss. I really never knew him but I know he was an extra SPECIAL guy!! I know one thing for sure , Jim and EJ are with him now and that is a bit of a comfort. Those 3 will be biking and hiking thats for sure.
