Obituary of Elizabeth "Jane" Wilcut

Elizabeth “Jane” Wilcut, 66, of Hamburg, IA, formerly of Homestead, IA, died Saturday, March 18, 2017, at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Visitation will be held from 12-2pm on Saturday, March 25th at the Gay & Ciha Funeral Service – Oxford Chapel. Graveside Services will follow at 2 pm at the Oxford Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established in Jane’s name. Elizabeth “Jane” Wilcut, born February 11, 1951, in Homestead, IA, to Francis Bixby and Bernice Burket. Jane is survived by her daughters, Debbie (Mike) Wilson, Tina (Dan) Trenkamp; son, Robert (Dawn) Frees; 12 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren; sisters, Judy Bixby, Martha “Joan” West; brothers, Frank Brooks, and John Bixby; and Frank Bixby, who although wasn’t a biological brother was raised as one; and a special friend, Charles Carter. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Aaron Lee; 4 brothers, and 4 sisters.
